SALT SYSTEMS -Generate pure chlorine from table salt.
Salt Systems are an alternative source for introducing chlorine into the pool for sanitation. Salt is made of sodium chloride, and when this compound goes through the cell, chlorine is produced and is directly put to use in the pool. This process also removes other chemicals ,which are used in liquid and tablet forms, that can irritate your eyes and skin. With the high amount of sodium, the water is also a lot softer because of the raised pH.
